HISTORY
Milwaukee fine dining with a haunted past
"Heaven
City" in Mukwonago, the house of ill repute, yesteryears of strange
communal activities, gangster ghosts and mysterious underground
tunnels that stretch beneath the "Potawatomi Indian" burial grounds
out to the "getaway and bootlegging" Fox River just beyond.
Dare if you will to enjoy a romantic dinner in this fascinating
and alluring unhinged mansion, with a nostalgic old times atmosphere
unlike any other restaurant in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.
While some ghosts make visual appearances, everything that points
to a haunted house is present in this house. Unseen presences, mostly
eerie, yet pleasantly strange unpredictable happenings occur here.
Laughter, running down halls, door knobs turning, and a pair of
turn of the century shoes beneath the bathroom stall door, voices,
and perhaps even physically being touched by an unseen child presence.
Flash forward to 2007 where, nearly seventy-five years later,
rumor has it that A.J. Moore the street preacher that started this
commune in Mukwonago, Wisconsin still remains in the house. Arrive
at the mansion in fan-fare style where guests are usually greeted
by a distinguished gentleman at the door. Once inside indulge in
the warmth and allure of this distinct setting, known to provide
an unforgettable Milwaukee fine dining experience, but don't be
too taken back by ghostly stories and the strange events that quickly
reveal anything but normal.
